Golf wedding is popular?
drgolfstore.com / 11/09/2009

Maybe yes, maybe no, you wanna to have a wonderful wedding ceremony at golf course. This is a trend that you may witness.

Because of its good landscape, fresh air and large enough space, golf course has witnessed many new couples. Even stars have their wedding at golf course.

Not long ago, Andrea Corr, a pop star of Irish music forsome the Corrs, has gotten married at the Doonbeg Golf Course in Ireland later on this year.

Golf wedding is popular?

The star, who sings with her two sisters and brother in the Corrs, is marrying Barry Desmond, who is the son of Irish stockbroker Dermot Desmond.

Guests may be swapping golf course suitable-golf apparel for glamorous dresses and suits at the nuptials, which are planned for August 21st.

But if any of the congregation fancy a game of two after the ceremony, the golf course will not be too far away.

Designed by Greg Norman, the course spans 1.5 miles. The Doonbeg website notes that a typical 18-hole game usually takes golfers around four and a half hours, so guests may find they have plenty of time to back to the wedding celebrations just in time for the reception.

BTW, if you are still confused about where to have best golf gifts, this page which I used to check in, can also be your good choice as well.
