Our engineers took elements designed for Tour players, like a thinner top line and narrower sole, and incorporated them into highly forgiving irons with a higher MOI so they can be played by a wide range of golfers.
Modified Tru-Bore
An advanced version of the original Tru-Bore design, the polycarbonate tip plug at the end of the shaft dampens vibration for enhanced feel and performance.
VFT Technology
VFT Technology of Callaway X-22 maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting for more distance and forgiveness; S2H2 increases discretionary weight by removing it from the hosel and repositioning it in the perimeter of the clubhead; 360-Degree Undercut Channel maximizes perimeter weighting by moving the CG lower and farther back in the clubhead, enlarging the hitting area and stabilizing the clubhead for more forgiveness.

I was looking for Callaway X-22 for my wife. As you know. They are very expensive at off-line market. At that time, I found this product and purchased them at very cheap price. When I received them and opened the box, them were new products. And the club is very excellent.
With the wide sole on the bottom of the club, it practically swings itself. I would highly recommend these X-22 Irons to anyone who is looking for a new set.
Really nice balance, very forgiving on miss hits. Grips seem a bit sticky but overall nice set of irons. Highly recommend X-22 Irons.
I heard these X-22 Irons would help my game and they did, and I would recommend these irons to anyone that has a question about them,, well worth the money I spent on them.
I purchased X-22's with an open, hopeful mind. They are magic. The design slides the clubhead perfectly through the ball with consistent center-hit, pure feel. No stubbing, blading or bouncing occurred.
I adapted to this Callaway X-22 in one practice session and played it today with really good results. I went with more loft than I have ever played and hit every fairway but one with a more distance than my Callaway FT-IZ.

i hit these X-22s at a local golf show along with the newest PING, Taylormade, and Nike irons. Of course it's all personal preference, but these irons were hands down the winner for me. I also read about the X18s, which can be found new for a very reasonable price. Several updates made by Callaway were enough for me to buy the newest irons for this season.
I was not disappointed with X-22 Irons. It certainly was easy to swing and had great control. The shaft is comfortable and seems to be accurate.
Is this a 9 club set? both pitching and sand wedge included?
