The FT-9 also features a new hyperbolic facing design that uses a combination of mathematics and engineering to allow the user the highest possible ball speeds across the entire face of the club.  Callaway has also upgraded from their earlier FT-5 by increasing the carbon-fiber composite frame nearly seven percent front to back.  Even when the ball is struck off-center, the titanium cupface in the FT-9 has a wonderful X-pattern design to help ensure the best possible result for every shot which is much appreciated from any golfer, regardless the skill level.

The Callaway FT-9 Driver has a frame that's made from a carbon-fiber composite. Compared to the Callaway FT-5, it's 7 percent longer front to back. The Callaway FT-9 is composed of six different materials, which work together to push the club's CG (center of gravity) deep and low. Additionally, the FT-9 has a titanium cupface with an internal X-pattern design. This design boosts your ball speed when you hit off-center.

The Callaway FT-9 feels very comfortable in your hands. The solid feeling it gives comes from the multiple materials used in its creation, and plays a big part in the club's satisfying weight distribution. (The Callaway FT-9's CG is 18 percent lower than in other models, in fact.) Add the OptiFit to the club and trying it out becomes a breeze.

The FT-9 has been created by Callaway to make it easier for players to work the ball while getting maximum distance off the tee. It features a carbon composite body and titanium face with Hyperbolic Face Technology to make it more forgiving. With its slightly open face angle and a lower, more penetrating ball flight, it can also be customised for a neutral or draw trajectory.
